Run Like a Girl

I used to make fun of Steven Seagal's run. Have you seen it? For a badass, he runs like a girl. It just doesn't look tough...Well, I really can't make fun anymore. After the second student film that I worked on came out, it is apparent that, not only do I run like a girl...I run like a total weirdo. What do you think?

What is More Exciting?

This week has been pretty exciting! A lot of milestones for me and I'm having trouble determining what is the most notable. So, you tell me! I can't decide if it's a bigger deal to have Flavor Flav following me on Twitter OR if it's local DJ and celebrity BLADE for 96 Rock reading and commenting on my blog!! I dunno...I was pretty stoked!! What do you think?

The Wrong Idea

Isn't it funny how we make assumptions about people based on their physical characteristics? Let me clear some things up for you. There's no way around it....I have a large chest and that cannot be helped. It's not something to be proud of. It's not something to be ashamed of. It just is period. It's not something I purchased and want to show off. Don't assume that I want the world to see. There will be no bow chicka chicka bow bow in my future. So please stop asking.

Recycling

There is a man in Downtown Durham that takes recycling to a whole. Nother. Level. For real. He takes all of the cans, bottles and paper out of the recycling bins and puts his own "treasures" in the bins. He's always been very nice to me. Every time I see him, we say hello and chat. (I'm so glad I've been nice.) Today, it's raining pretty hard so I have to take the covered stairwell up to my car in the parking deck. My friend is inside sorting through his cans...he's leaning over and in his back pocket he has...dun..dun...DUN....A HUGE KNIFE!!! I really can't make this up. I wave as I walk by and he nods his usual hello. (See, you better be nice....)

I'm Dying

This is the student film I was a part of at Duke University and it was just posted to youtube! James K. Lee, a very talented young man, worked on this for his senior thesis. Told you this was an exciting week!

Working It

I have run out of gas on my way to work, helped a woman on oxygen during the apocalypse, raised three teenagers, been robbed at gunpoint AND it's only MONDAY! Shaping up to be an interesting week...

You're HOW old? Too old. Too young. We need someone with green eyes. Brown. Hazel. Purple. Too pale. Not pale enough. Much too Caucasian. Wrong gender. Chest is too big. Chest is too small. Too many freckles. Butt too flat. Not athletic enough. Too athletic. You really cannot dance. You dance too well. Not perky enough. Too perky. AGH!!! Hmmm...for some parts I'm just right and I'll keep going until I'm the PERFECT fit!!
