I don't smoke...so what do I do to prepare for a "sexy voice" commercial spot? Drink four cups of coffee in a row! Hey, it worked. Not quite as good as Kathleen Turner, but who is? It's really hard to talk quickly AND seductively, so this spot took a little bit longer than the normal spot to record. But it was so worth it!

You About Done?

Nothing says "serious situation" quite like a segway security guard. Really? Just not intimidating at all. While on location for a project earlier last month we were getting some b-roll shots for the segment. Out of nowhere rolls up this guy trying to look tough.

Paul Blart: zzzzzzztttttt... "You about done?"

Me: Geeze...where did you come from? I giggle a little self consciously.

Paul Blart: Something funny, miss? Do you two work here?

Me: Ummm...no. Do you? We were just leaving "OFFICER"

Paul Blart: Make sure you do. zzzzzzzzttttttt.....and off he goes...

 We just launched our newest murder mystery, "Crusin for Clues". We had our first sold-out performance in Albemarle, NC this past weekend. Saturday was an exciting day! Started out with a class in the morning with Richard Futch, casting director for Army Wives and then on the way to the show, I got a flat tire!! Wish I could blame it on Irene, but no, it was just a nail. Talk about stress in the rain! We'll be having a performance open to the public in September at Maggiano's at Southpoint!! My Plumbing is Fine!

These are two of the commercials we recorded for One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Beside the fact it is painfully obvious I need a team of hair and make-up specialists with me on all future shoots, the commercials are pretty good! We recorded 11 of these in ONE day. BUT because we don't have cable, these are the only two I've seen! What do you think?

This should be a good omen for a horror film, right? We started shooting on Sunday for "Foodie" and look at what the cat dragged in! Yep, it's little bunny foo foo. Or it WAS! We tried to get the kitty to drop the bunny but that did not happen. I wish I could say no animals were hurt during filming. Another exciting day on set!

An Arm and A Leg!

The trailer for "Destiny Road" is out and I am in it! Well, more specifically, my ARM and my LEG are in it. It would have been more exciting if, I don't know, say my FACE could be seen. Beggars can't be choosers so still excited! Did make the "Behind the Scenes with Zoe Myers for Destiny Road" and made her IMBD page! I've listed all the minute marks because I know how exciting my shoes and arms are! :)
